CRF Boathouse
CSRA rows out of the Cleveland Rowing Foundation boathouse on the
east bank of the flats. As the only rowing boathouse is northeastern Ohio,
CSRA shares the boathouse and the Cuyahoga River with all local rowing
organizations including crews from Shaker Heights, St. Ignatius, Cleveland
State, Case Western Reserve, and John Carroll. Besides ample storage
space, the boathouse features meeting areas, an activity room with nearly 20
rowing ergometers, and one of the longest boat launch docks in the midwest.
The Cleveland Rowing foundation, our host organization, is a non-profit
organization involved in many charitable causes including Row for the Cure, Hard
Hatted Women, and adaptive rowing. The CRF also hosts the annual Head of
the Cuyahoga regatta on the third Saturday of September. This regatta
attracts hundreds of junior, college, and masters athletes from all over the
midwest region.
